Greetings to all,Generally I've noticed resistence to the idea of self-defense and Christianity from three directions...1. The "reality" based guys to say that one has nothing to do with the other, ignoring the need (as even Sun Tzu pointed out in his treatise) to carefully consider the afore decided moral framework within which decisions will be made... (as though just "winging it" will suffice when either the Divine or an earthly Judge/judge evaluates our actions)...2.

I wasn't really thinking of this when I commented on Sir Catons endeavors, but if anyone is looking for webhosting with the domain name of your choice included at no addition cost… I can assist… my own web site though mostly ministry based does have (on the back page entitled “an honest living”) information on just this.

For whatever it may be worth, my convictions are coming from a independent fundamental Baptist perspective…one I happen to share..."And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. "(Luke 22:35-38)I find this passage interesting on at least three points...1. Jesus is speaking (therefore it has a heavy weight of authority)2. A sword is specifically named as a weapon (highlighting lethal force)3. Amongst twelve men Jesus said, of 2 swords,

Mr. Caton,While I may need to coax my finances (as things are VERY tight, right now) I would be interested in finding out the cost of the kerambits Mr. Kidwell showed pics of, and possibly pics featuring specific blade geometry... blessing on your endeavors, in our current economy any attempt at "self" reliance is admirable.

Thankyou Mr. Kidwell, while I would like to see the blades the fixtures on the handle are reassuring, unlike those on kris cutlery which look almost exactly like I want the, handle of kris cutlery's blade looks too fragile for combat application.Knightly Sir James
