The very fact that the Inner Circle KTS Greeting precedes this form indicates that it is a kuntao/silat hybrid. . . as is Satu. It also introduces the kuntao Iron BroomStick sweeps, which you will see later in Ling Sing Toy. That is a logical direction Jon. I actually added the reverse turn to address the issue of rapidly changing at the lower gate to accommodate the chaos of combat. So, although tornadoes do not change direction, it is a good English explanation.
